National Geographic
As a passionate environmental advocate and storyteller, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with National Geographic, using my voice and experiences to shine a light on some of the most pressing environmental issues of our time.
The Impact of Plastic Pollution
During one of my impactful contributions to National Geographic, I recounted my visit to a waste management facility near Lake Urmia, a vital stopover for migratory birds. I vividly remember the overpowering stench that filled the air, the seemingly endless mounds of plastic waste stretching as far as the eye could see, and the heartbreaking sight of birds struggling to survive amidst the pollution. Through this narrative, I sought to capture the dire consequences of plastic pollution and emphasize the urgent need for collective action to reduce waste and protect our fragile ecosystems.
Small Wild Cats
I’m incredibly proud to have collaborated with National Geographic on an issue dedicated to the captivating world of small wild cats. These elusive creatures, though often overshadowed by their larger cousins, hold a special place in my heart. Through this project, I had the chance to delve deep into their habitats, capturing the raw beauty and untamed spirit of these tiny predators. It was a unique experience to share their stories, raise awareness about their conservation, and highlight the delicate balance they maintain within their ecosystems.
